After a few days of snow fall, backcountry snow conditions started to look quite good in most of the Swiss Alps. As compared to some other Christmas weeks, there is a pretty good snow cover with decent powder (see picture above taken today above Davos). The avalanche danger is also moderate, so there is nothing much that can stop us from heading to the mountains.
