Great little skitour in the vincintity of Zurich with new powder snow, even though overall snow cover is not very good yet. Instead of the very ppopular Schilt, I went to the Siwellen which provides a much better (steeper descent). The weather was just fantastic (especially considering the Zurich region was below the fog). More information (in German) on this tour can be found under “Ski Touren in der Nähe von Zürich“. The picture above is the Mürtschenstock (view from Siwellen), a peak that can only be reached by serious climbing.
